Meet the Commitee

Max Arzola

After High School I went to Austin to study Psychology at The University of Texas. I joined Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity where I eventually became the President, graduated, and joined an AmeriCorps State Program where I helped high school students apply to college. Currently I work for a community mental health clinic helping adults who have chronic mental illness adapt & adjust to the community.  ,,,,,,

As we approach the reunion, I'm looking forward to meeting with everyone face to face. With Facebook and all the other social networking sites, we are able to connect, but there's nothing like talking to people in person to catch up and have a genuine interaction.

Hello everyone! During the past 10yrs after graduating from Ysleta High School, I've been happy with what life has to offer. I am a happy wife, loving mother, and currently, I care for many people as a Medical Assistant. In my position, I am able to aid and support people who utilize Wound and Pain Management services, as well as Allergy and Asthma. Currently, I'm going to school to pursue   a    degree    in   nursing.

I really hope that this reunioun we all could get together and interact with each other and have a darn good time, without social media getting in the way. Real smiles and laughter amongst old and new friends. It will be great to see everyone and catch up on good times.

When our senior class elected me as the Vice President, I was  honored  because one of my responsibilities included helping organizing our ten year class reunion. Our reunion will be a memorable weekend for everyone to reunite, reminisce, and enjoy. I can hardly wait to see your beautiful faces, and hear all your adventures, and accomplishments. It's always nice to be reminded of where we came from.

In 2004, I accepted an internship with Walt Disney World College program in Orlando, Florida. During this time, I began my career in marketing, sales, and advertising. In college, I was an active member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority, University Democrats, and the Student Government Association Excel Program.

On campus, I worked as an undergraduate research assistant, for the Political Science Department, as well as a facilitator, for the College Of Business Administration Student Center. In 2012, I completed multiple bachelor degrees in the College of Business Administration at UTEP.

I will soon be relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada, to continue my marketing career as an Account Executive. Most importantly, I married my extremely supporting husband Rabia Abdennaoui nine years ago. We have a beautiful family, with an adorable one year old boy, Rabia Abdennaoui II.

I hope to see you all in September, no excuses! Don't hesitate to contact me with any iinterest in volunteering to help organize the reunion. We need all the volunteers we can get to make the reunion a success. I can be contacted via email at Mrs.Abdennaoui@Gmail.com

While working as computer specialist for UTEP and security head for a local gastro-pub, I graduated with my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2011.

I consulted with the largest cement company in El Paso in 2011 on several projects of design for their facilities. I left in 2012 for Dish Network and entered their sales department in hopes of trying to learn business and financial aspects of a large corporation.

In 2013, I returned to a locally owned gastro-pub at El Paso  in The Hoppy  Monk.  Managing  the   business    for .

over a year now I have had the opportunity to: travel, mature in the business, mature the business itself, and comfortable live in the city I love.

I currently reside in west side El Paso and love to be with my family and friends. Obviously I have grown to have a large affinity for craft beer and food.

"Carmen," "Holiday Spectacular," El Paso Fashion Week, Gay Pride Week, Viva El Paso, and the Macho Man Calendar Release Party. I have also taught ballet, jazz and hip hop dance with EP Parks & Rec, YISD Schools, Sunshine Dance Studio, and the Dance, Arts & Music (DAM) Program.

But the most important title I hold is "Momma" of the rambunctious 3 year-old Riley Morrison.

I look forward to seeing all my old (yes, we're old) classmates! It will be a great opportunity to reconnect with each other as adults. I hope to see everyone real soon!

After graduating, I attended college for a few years but got side tracked trying to pursue a music career. Things went well in the beginning until our group had a falling out. I then had an opportunity to move to Phoenix, AZ and jumped at the chance. I have been out here for 3 years now and I love it. Things were rough in the beginning but I have networked and built great relationships. No regrets on the move for I am chasing my dream in music. I have applied for ASU and look forward to finally earning a degree.

As far as our reunion, I cannot wait to see all of your beautiful faces in person. Social media can only do so much. I joined the committee in hopes of creating a memorable event for all of us to remember. See ya'll in September!

After graduating from high school I attended a semester at UTEP and realized it wasn't for me. I ended up seriously contemplating how or what I was going to do with my life after leaving college. I phoned one of my best friends Max Arzola. After discussing with him I had no idea what I was going to do for work he ended up getting me a job as a lifeguard at Wet N Wild Waterworld. Because of that job I made quite a few connections that helped me get other jobs in the future. I have worked everything from an EMT and Dispatcher to a Shoe Salesman, a Bouncer, a Correctional Officer, and even a General Manager/Auctioneer for a storage facility. In 2012 I moved to Austin, Texas to further my career with a company Called Cubesmart. Most of you know I have a huge passion for performing and acting. In 2014 I got the opportunity of a lifetime and was cast in a feature film called "The Devils Candy" (which will be released within the next year). I ended quitting my day job to continue work on the film. I ended up meeting my acting coach and friend Pruitt Taylor Vince on the same project. A few months ago I took the biggest leap of faith and moved out to Los Angeles to pursue a career in Television and Film. I have since had some amazing opportunities and have been working on quite a few projects. I feel truly blessed! I cant wait to see so many of my old friends at the re-union! Lets make this the best reunion that Ysleta has ever seen! Once an Indian always an Indian!!!
